Q. How can I dob in bullying?

A. Call the Bullying Hotline on 1300 721 548 between 8am and 8pm on October 25 and have the following information handy:

• Any records about the bullying
• Details of what took place
• Dates and times
• Who was involved, including witnesses who may have seen the bullying

Q. Can I dob in bullying after 25 October?

A. You can make a report to the Bullying Hotline after the 25 October. Of course members can always call about bullying to the Member Rights Centre on 1300 366 378.


Q. Can I dob in bullying if it's not happening to me?

A. Yes, you can report bullying that you have seen or heard in your workplace. Bullying has an impact on everyone in a workplace whether they are the victim or not and everyone’s participation is required to stop bullying.


Q. Do I need to be a union member to dob in bullying?

A. Non-members can make a report about bullying to the FSU. However, if you want to stop bullying in your workplace it is important that you are a union member. Bullying can be stopped when workers act together through their union. Union members also have greater legal protection in relation to issues they raise with the union.


Q. What happens after I dob in bullying?

A. Where a member who reports bullying requires further support or advocacy, that member will be assigned an FSU advocate to assist them. The reports of bullying cases will be assessed by the FSU to identify any patterns or hotspots for further action.


Q. Do I need to give my name?

A. All reports made to the Bullying Hotline are confidential. You can report bullying anonymously if you choose to do so. The FSU will use the information that is reported anonymously, but will be limited in its ability to respond.
