Westpac Staff Superannuation Plan Directors Election
The Westpac Staff Super Plan is one of the largest corporate Super funds in Australia. The WSSP is currently the default fund for Westpac employees covered by the new Westpac Group Enterprise Agreement 2010.
During July and August two of the Trustee Director positions are up for election. When the WSSP elections are held the FSU always takes the time to interview and endorse FSU members who share the Union's commitment to Superannuation.

I am seeking election as a Plan Members’ Director as one of the two FSU endorsed candidates along with Tony Thompson.
For most of us investment in Superannuation is one of the most important financial decisions we make to secure our future.
My 35 years experience working in Westpac, with a background in lending and management, has provided me the necessary skills to make a significant contribution to the important work of protecting and improving our superannuation.
I care about my colleagues and see this as an opportunity to demonstrate my commitment to the well being of all staff. I would like to ensure that Fund members, have access to the most appropriate information to enable you to make informed decisions and safeguard your Superannuation investments.
If elected I will advocate for:
- Security of assets and quality professional Management
- Maximising returns and investment choices
- Member education and consultation
- Flexibility of choice within the Plan

- Promotion of the importance of superannuation for younger people
