Westpac: Staffing and Overtime Audit
Print  |  Email

FSU organisers around the country conducted a national staffing audit of Westpac retail branches in the first half of 2009.

The purpose of the audit was to take a snapshot of a large sample of branches, to determine staffing levels, access to relief staff, and access to paid overtime, between now and the end of the year.

The findings are available at the link below and will be communicated to the bank, so that any issues that are uncovered in the process can be addressed.

We think you’ll find the results very interesting, especially when looked at in conjunction with the results of the McNair Ingenuity independent polling conducted in June. Staffing and relief, overtime and targets are all things we are aiming to address in the move for a new Westpac Collective Agreement.
