Negotiations have now concluded and the EBA will be out for consultation and consideration by staff today, 16 September. The ballot will run from 26 September until 7 October.

FSU and SGE will be conducting staff consultation meetings on Tuesday 20 September (Parramatta) and Friday 23 September (Clarence St and regional branch staff via teleconference). These meetings will be a chance to ask any questions or seek clarification. There will be an opportunity for FSU members to consult without management at the end of each of these meetings.

The major changes are:

• Introduction of a transparent classification system
• Across the board pay increases between 3% and 3.6% backdated to 1 July 2011
• Increases in redundancy pay in the case of a merger
• Changes to transaction fees for member accounts
