FSU is holding urgent Westpac staff meetings in affected sites across Sydney this week to discuss the latest on Westpac’s proposed job cuts and the Union’s response.

Meetings will be held in the Sydney CBD, Kogarah and Concord CSC for staff affected by the cuts.

Meeting notices are being sent into those locations and staff should keep an eye out for specific meeting times and venues. The meetings are being held in work time and staff will be paid to attend.

Westpac is required to consult about these “proposed” job cuts before a final decision is made.

It is imperative that as many people as possible from each of the affected sites attends these meetings to ensure that staff interests are heard before jobs are cut.
