Saturday Trading - Your Rights
NAB continue to expand the number of Saturday trading stores across the state.
Employees in Groups 1 and 2 who are asked to work on a Saturday should be aware that they have rights under the NAB Enterprise Agreement 2011 when it comes to working on weekends.
Importantly, any weekend work which is part of your ordinary working hours can only occur on a strictly voluntary basis.
Any requirement to work weekends as overtime (i.e. in addition to your ordinary hours) must be reasonable, taking account of a range of factors including your personal circumstances.
If you agree to work on Saturday or Sunday, you are entitled to an additional loading on your ordinary rate of pay as per the table below:

Saturday - If worked as ordinary hours (between 8am and 6pm) - 50%

Saturday - If worked as overtime - 100%

Sunday - If worked as ordinary hours - 100%
