Suncorp have advised the FSU that a Brisbane CBD branch will be closed this month resulting in existing staff being redeployed to other positions in Suncorp.

Redeployment by Suncorp into a comparable role should take into account:

• The terms and conditions of your role; 
• Your base pay/fixed salary;
• Your skills, experience and capabilities;
• The duties and requirements of the comparable role; and
• Location of the comparable role.

Suncorp may offer you non-comparable positions which are "alternative employment" which you do not have to accept. Accepting "alternative employment" removes your eligibility for retrenchment.
