Young women’s rights in the workplace Survey
Print  |  Email

Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission

We want to hear what young women need to know about their rights at work.

Did you know that it is against the law for your boss or coworkers to treat you unfairly because of your age or because you are a woman? Did you know that workplaces must protect all workers from sexual harassment (including volunteers from 1 August)?

To prepare for the changes to the Equal Opportunity Act that will come into effect on 1 August, the Commission is developing resources to help Victorians understand their rights and responsibilities.

If you are a young woman, we would like to hear from you! Please take five minutes to complete our survey. Your feedback will help shape information for young women about their rights in the workplace.

Go to the survey.

The Commission is moving:

From Monday 2 May the Commission will be located at Level 3, 204 Lygon Street, Carlton.

For directions to our new office or for more information, visit our website.

Email addresses and telephone numbers for Commission staff will stay the same and our Enquiry Line remains 1300 292 153.
