BankWest Extended Hours Awareness

FSU’s extended hours survey, which closed on 9th of May, reveals that some Bankwest staff are not aware of all their entitlements under the Bankwest Workplace Agreement 2007. FSU and the Bank have discussed the feedback. The Bank has confirmed it is committed to all employees receiving their proper entitlements.

Both the Union and the Bank want to make sure staff are fully informed and able to claim all entitlements to which they are due. Bankwest in consultation with the FSU has produced an information sheet outlining these entitlements which can be accessed through the R Buzz website http://hbuzz/retailsales/ under Store Tools titled “Guidelines to Thursday Night and Saturday Trade” or the Union by contacting the Member Rights Centre on 1300 366 378.

Thanks to all those members and other staff who responded to the survey. We had 71 responses which is significant given the short two week time frame.
