Following contact from members that the POR/POR+ payments had been removed by the bank on the 30th June 2011 your Union arranged a meeting with Bankwest to establish the reason behind this decision.
 
Over the past few months the FSU has continued to pursue this issue on behalf of members and we are pleased to announce that through open discussions, the bank has agreed to apply the POR/POR+ positions and allowances for each retail location as per clause 20 of the Bankwest General Enterprise Agreement 2011.

The bank has committed to processing POR arrangements for all stores by 21st November 2011 which may include back payment to members acting in this role where applicable.

Happy Chats

The recent decision by the bank to reroute calls from Direct Sales to branches and Home Loan Specialists has resulted in many members contacting the Union to raise their concerns about the changes.  Over the past few weeks FSU has met several times with the bank to talk about your issues and to work with them to find solutions.  We are pleased to advise your concerns have been taken on board by the bank resulting in many improvements to Happy Chats rostering.  Through this joint collaboration we have managed to secure the following changes:



We will continue to monitor the progress of Happy Chats and as members raise issues we will take them back to the bank and seek further improvements.
