ANZ Collective Agreement Negotiations - Moving forward
Monday, 7 June 2010
On Wednesday 2 June the ANZ and FSU met again to continue negotiations on a new Collective Agreement. The detailed discussions this week revolved around sick leave, shiftwork, lunch breaks and arrangements for part time employees. The bank has accepted the union's position on some issues and provided feedback on more contentious changes. Discussions continue in a productive manner between the parties.
Whilst points of contention are still being rigorously debated, the FSU and ANZ negotiations are progressing and through further discussions in the coming weeks both parties are confident of being able to resolve these issues.
Negotiations will continue on Wednesday 16 June when ANZ is due to respond to shift work and lunch break arrangements. Pay and disputes procedures are yet to be discussed in detail; ANZ should be able to table their position on these critical issues toward the end of July. FSU will consult with Reps and members comprehensively once this has occurred.
Look out for regular updates during these negotiations.
There are several ways you can stay informed as negotiations progress:
-
