CBA EA 2010 - Ballot Opens Today
Tuesday, 7 September 2010
Ballot open till 7pm Monday 13 September 2010
Voting on the new Enterprise Agreement negotiated by the Finance Sector Union and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia commences today. 17,000 eligible employees will be asked to vote on accepting the Agreement.
While the proposed Agreement does not include everything in the FSU claim, it does provide for improvements to pay and conditions, including access to an independent umpire to resolve disputes. Following consultation the agreement now also continues to protect your entitlement to a taxis home if you work past 7.30pm.
The FSU National Executive as well as the FSU CBA National Enterprise Council endorses the proposal.
Have Your Say
The FSU encourages all members to vote and have their say regarding the proposed new Agreement. The ballot is conducted by an independent company, Elections Australia, and the process includes measures to ensure your privacy is protected.
Voting Instructions
By now all employees eligible to vote should have received a letter with voting instructions. These instructions include details of how you can cast your vote over the internet.
If you have not received your voting instructions contact CBA HR Direct on 1800 989 696.
