Enterprise Agreement 2010 > Negotiations begin
Thursday, 22 July 2010
Negotiations kicked off this week between FSU and Bankwest for your new Enterprise Agreement.
The FSU negotiation team, which includes FSU Reps Chris Fisher and Anne Enright, presented the Union Claim for improvements to your pay and conditions. The Claim was put together after extensive consultation with members via national workplace visits and surveys.
The FSU Reps on the Bankwest Consultative Committee also gave it unanimous endorsement.
Key Issues
The negotiations will cover all Level 1 and 2 employees’ pay and conditions of employment.
The key issues identified by members through consultation include a guaranteed across the board annual pay increase, improvements to job security, fair and achievable targets and better access to leave arrangements.
A full copy of the Claim is available here.
Let’s Get Active!
To get the fair Agreement that employees deserve we need Union members to be actively involved in the campaign. During negotiations we will be asking members to participate in activities to support the key issues. We have to demonstrate to the bank how strongly members feel about particular issues. Whether it’s pay, workloads, targets or job security we need to highlight the merits of our Claim.
