FSU CLAIM: PAY - Enterprise Bargaining at ANZ
Wednesday, 3 June 2009
FSU CLAIM - PAY
Enterprise Bargaining between FSU and ANZ starts in June.
This process will give FSU members an opportunity to rectify current pay issues at ANZ in a legally-enforceable Enterprise Agreement.
Pay will be central to FSU’s bargaining claim. The claim will include:
Guaranteed annual across the board pay rises
In recent years ANZ staff have not received guaranteed across the board increase. Pay increases have been dependent on performance, and/ or market movement.
FSU will bargain for across the board real wage increases: increases that are above increases in the cost of living.
Regulation of performance pay
Performance pay should only be in addition to guaranteed across the board increases.
FSU will bargain for the performance pay pool, as well as clear and consistent performance criteria, to be contained in the new Enterprise Agreement.
Increases to employer superannuation contributions
FSU will bargain for an increase in super contributions at ANZ, in line with the industry recommendation of what is required for a reasonable retirement.
FSU will bargain to have all employees – including those on TEC-packages - covered by the new ANZ Enterprise Agreement.
