FSU STAFFING CLAIM - Enterprise Bargaining at ANZ

Enterprise Bargaining between FSU and ANZ starts in June.

This process will give FSU members an opportunity to rectify current staffing issues at ANZ in a legally-enforceable Enterprise Agreement.

Staffing levels will be a main focus of FSU’s bargaining claim and, in particular, FSU will seek to address concerns raised by members during the recent ANZ Retail Staffing Audit conducted by the union.
The claim will include:

Measures to guarantee adequate staffing levels.

FSU will bargain for:

  • A commitment from ANZ that any vacancies will be filled within a timeframe specified within the Enterprise Agreement.
  • No reduction in staffing levels without a corresponding reduction in workloads.
  • Sufficient relief numbers.
  • All relevant factors to be taken into consideration when determining staffing levels for a particular workplace; these factors should be listed within the Enterprise Agreement.

FSU will bargain to have all employees – including those on TEC-packages - covered by the new ANZ Enterprise Agreement.

What can you do to be part of the Enterprise Bargaining campaign?

  • Become an FSU member if you aren’t already.
  • Provide your feedback on the EB claim to FSU.
  • Talk to your colleagues about FSU’s plan to ensure adequate staffing levels, if this is an issue on your workplace.
  • If adequate staffing levels are important to you, be prepared to actively support FSU’s campaign.
