NAB not living by the rules or its values
Friday, 10 March 2017
Some NAB members have reported they’ve been advised by the bank they can’t talk to anyone about proposed branch closures or changes to their shifts, not even their family or Union.
This kind of secrecy is unacceptable and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it.
Is this happening to you?
You should immediately contact your FSU Organiser or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any information you provide will be treated confidentially.
The bank must consult you if it want to change your hours, role or workplace location. That’s about your views as an employee being taken into consideration and actually contributing to the decision-making process. It’s not about telling you how things are going to be.
Get the facts
We’ve put together a FACT SHEET to help you through any proposal to change your hours. If you have any questions or need immediate assistance you can call the Member Rights Centre on 1300 366 378 or email email@example.com.
