Westpac Group Super Policy Committee - VOTE for the FSU Super Team

The transfer of Westpac Staff Super Plan and St George Super Plan (PLUM) into the BT Super For Life Westpac Group Scheme means that it is now more important than ever before to have experienced representatives speaking up for you about the way your super is managed.

The FSU Super Team reflects the diversity of Westpac workers, covering back office, contact centre and retail, as well as a balance between St George and Westpac.

As well as the experience gained on the job in the finance sector over many years, the FSU Super Team will have the resources and support of the FSU to make sure they have the ability to do an effective job hearing your concerns and having your issues raised.

THE FSU SUPER TEAM IS:

Bruce Innes

Former Director of Westpac Staff Superannuation Fund (Westpac’s longest serving member Director), former CIO of Westpac Pacific Banking, currently Senior Commercial Manager, FSU member for over 30 years.

“Superannuation continues to be an area of major focus for many of us. Continued changes to the legislation, industry agreements, awards and practices requires constant attention. It is essential that members have representatives on the committee that can understand the complexities of this important area and provide input of the management and future direction of our Superannuation Fund.”

Frank Brady

Works for Westpac at Lockleys. Currently serves on the FSU Local Enterprise Council.

“The closer I get to retirement, the more interested in it I become. If elected, I intend to be a resource for colleagues wanting to know more about superannuation.”

Deborah Gallagher

Works at St George CCC at Parramatta for 9 years. FSU Rep for 5 years. Currently serves on the FSU Local Executive Council, member of the bargaining committee for the last EA.

“I want to make sure employees’ interest are protected at all times and believe, based on my experience and the broad support of my colleagues, that I can make a valid contribution to this Board.”

Gemma McIntosh

9 years with Westpac. Works in retail branch network, formerly worked with BT Financial Group.

“I feel that with my wealth management background, my experience and contacts across the retail network, that I can make a valuable contribution to the Super Team.”

Voting opens on Tuesday 17 July 2012 and closes at 5pm on Tuesday 31 July 2012
