Bankwest Employees Owed Millions

In 2017 the FSU ran and won a campaign for the systematic underpayment of superannuation for part-time employees in CBA.

In 2017 the FSU ran and won a campaign for the systematic underpayment of superannuation for part-time employees in CBA.

Since then CBA have undertaken a review of employee entitlements across CBA and Bankwest.

Through this review CBA have identified that there are Bankwest employees who have also been underpaid, or not been credited the appropriate entitlements such as leave.

So what happens now?

Bankwest will notify you if you are owed back pay or a leave credit.

The FSU will be representing members to ensure that any pay or leave that they are owed is done properly once and for all.

To have FSU representation you must be an FSU member, fill out the Appointment of Representative Form and return it to the FSU.

You can get a copy of the Appointment of Representative form from your FSU organiser, or you can download it here.

Once you have received notification from Bankwest regarding your payment, if you think there is an error and you have signed the Authority form you can just contact the FSU Member Rights Centre to have your individual case reviewed.

In the coming weeks your backpay will be paid through your payroll and leave will be recredited.

Make sure you and your colleagues are covered, join the FSU today and fill out an Appointment of Representative Form.
