Late last year, the Government announced that they would conduct a review into Retirement Incomes. The FSU is putting together a submission to share the experiences of finance workers with superannuation. We are looking to highlight the success of the current scheme for certain groups of workers, the limitations of the current scheme for other workers, and some of the unintended consequences that we’re seeing almost 30 years after the scheme was designed.
If you’d like to contribute to our submission you can do that by:
- Providing data about your circumstances that will be collated and used, whereby you are not personally identified;
- Providing data about your circumstances that will be collated and your particular circumstances may be highlighted through a case study (with a name change to de-identify you, if you don’t want to use your real name);
- Talking to the media or politicians about your circumstances.
If you’ve got a story to share about how superannuation either is, or is not, working for you – please complete the FSU survey here.
(Note, you’ll need to know your approximate superannuation balance to complete the survey.)
