FSU and Allianz reach in principle agreement on the BPA
This week FSU and Allianz Australia agreed on a landmark deal with the introduction of a guaranteed* pay increase for non-packaged staff for the first time. This brings Allianz into line with IAG and BUPA who have already agreed to introduce across the board increases for staff covered by their agreements.
FSU Representative Annette Tuyl: “I’m very proud that Allianz has agreed to introduce fixed pay increases for staff. It’s a great start and something we hope to build on in the future”.
Our 2020 Business Partnership Agreement also includes:
- Pay increases of up to 1.5% per annum, with 0.5% guaranteed* for non-packaged staff
- Increase in secondary paid parental leave, up from 2 weeks paid to 4 weeks paid
- Increase in compassionate leave to 5 days
- Increase in paid domestic and family violence leave, up from 5 days to 10 days paid leave
This agreement grandfathers conditions for ex-TIO CA employees and locks in pay increases for the next 3 years.
Drafting of the agreement continues; watch this space for information on how and when the employee ballot will run.
