Last week, we reached out to ME members to let them know that we would be addressing growing concerns about the possibility of ME Bank being up for sale.
Julia Angrisano (FSU National Secretary), Nicole McPherson (Vic/Tas Local Executive Secretary), and I (Yvette-Maree Marcelle, your Worker Council President), met with ME Bank Management this week to raise these concerns.
ME Management dismissed all rumours and stated that – despite ongoing speculation in the media – a sale is not currently on the cards.

ME Management indicated that they want to meet to discuss bargaining for our enterprise agreement at the end of February. Keep an eye out for more information about this or contact any of your Worker Council members to discuss.
