No Forced Redundancies as AMBL Announces Branch Closures.
AMBL have a announced a major restructure plan which will see the closure of 16 branches over a two-year period. In a briefing provided to the FSU, AMBL have confirmed that there will be no forced redundancies.
Instead, AMBL have called for an expression of interest for voluntary redundancies. In addition, to mitigate the impact of the branch closures on workers, AMBL will invest in providing training and development opportunities and consider the option of working from home, where possible.
Under the restructure plan several new roles will be also be added.
