AustralianSuper How to Vote

In support of achieving a better deal for everyone at Australian Super, we encourage all FSU members to vote YES on taking protected industrial action.

On your ballot email from TrueVote, vote YES on every action to ensure we have the ability to take the steps needed:

The interruption of work periodically, over an indefinite period, or for specified periods, in order to amend call scripts for the purpose of including the following statement:

“I’m taking protected industrial action in support of my union’s claim for a decent and fair annual pay increase under our enterprise agreement. AustralianSuper is asking us to take a cut in real wages. As part of this industrial action, I have to end this call in 2 minutes”.

To amend email signatures, Teams statuses and out of office messages for the purpose of including the following statement:

“I’m taking protected industrial action for my union’s claims for a decent and fair annual pay increase in our new enterprise agreement. AustralianSuper is asking us to take a cut in real wages. As part of this industrial action I am unable to respond to your message.”

Indefinite or periodic bans by employees on the performance of work unless the employee wears clothing, badges, stickers or other merchandise in support of the FSU’s industrial campaign in support of its claims:

A ban on all work outside of 7am-6pm Monday to Friday including not attending seminars, conferences and other work-related events:

Indefinite or periodic bans on the performance of work that requires the use of Zoom, Teams or other communications platforms, unless the employee includes visual avatars, video filters or other visual media in support of the FSU’s industrial campaign in support of its claims:

Indefinite or periodic bans on the performance of work that requires the use of AustralianSuper vehicles unless the employee writes one of the following slogans on the vehicle in chalk markers/paint:

  • ‘I work for AustralianSuper. This car is my office and AustralianSuper wants me to buy my own’
  •  ‘I work for AustralianSuper. AustralianSuper wants to take my work car away!’
  • ‘ Are you an AustralianSuper member? AustralianSuper’s pay offer to its staff is below inflation!’
  • ‘I work for AustralianSuper – while our execs are on overseas trips, the Fund is trying to take our work cars away.’
  • ‘I work for AustralianSuper. Biggest super fund in the country wants to take away the work cars we need to do our jobs?’
