Aware continues to exclude Financial Planners and offers the rest a paltry 1.5% increase!

Have your say by filling out our union survey now!

Aware Super continues to divide the workplace and exclude Financial Planners and several other roles from the Enterprise Agreement (EA). They insinuate that your salary packages are more than enough to compensate for the extra hours, overtime, and pay increases that would be included in an EA.

Here’s what some Financial Planners have said so far:

“Many financial planners are working 60-70 hours a week to keep up, in fear of losing their jobs. We have been told explicitly that members are first, then the business and then staff. If we don’t like it, we can leave.” – New South Wales

“I regularly work weekends to stay afloat. It’s as if we’re expected to work unlimited hours.” – Victoria

“We all deserve to be covered by the agreement with fair conditions. This is simply a way of reducing our rights.”  – New South Wales

For everyone else, Aware Super has shockingly offered a 1.5% increase for the first year of the agreement. What a slap in everyone’s face! Our Union said ‘no’ – this is completely unacceptable. Aware said they’ll need to go back to their Board.

CES’s, CSO’s, Analysts, Admin Support, MSO’s, Team Leaders, Managers and many more from across the business are weighing in. No matter what your role, make your voice heard.

As negotiations are ongoing, it’s not too late to have your say. Forward this to all your colleagues and everyone in your team.
