Enterprise Bargaining

Negotiations have started for our new EA

Enterprise Agreement bargaining is now underway. We met with the Bankwest Management team this week on the 23rd and 24th June.

This was the first meeting, and both parties set out their broad vision for the Bankwest Agreement. Importantly we tabled our log of claims endorsed by FSU members a number of weeks ago. The members’ log of claims is the key negotiating document for your workplace agreement. It spells out what we want to see in our new EA.

Whilst it was a productive discussion, we did make it clear that we would continue to represent the interest of Bankwest members and would continue to highlight, during this bargaining process, the areas of change to address the concerns of members.

We are meeting next week on 30th June and 1st July, and will have further updates post that meeting.

Introducing your FSU Bargaining Team

We would like to introduce the members of your Finance Sector Union Negotiating Committee for the Bankwest. Our Union Committee is made up of Adam Fay, Damian Egan, James Fernance, Patricia Morrison, Amina Sehic, and Zoe Smiddy.

2021 is set to be an important year as we move through the impact of COVID-19. A particular focus for all of us at Bankwest will be the negotiation of our Enterprise Agreement within this new climate. We look forward to representing your interests during this bargaining process and welcome your support and feedback as the process continues over the coming months.

Your views are very important to us so look out for further updates and information from us as bargaining progresses.
