You may have received an email about upcoming negotiations for a proposed new Bendigo Community Bank Cooperative Workplace Agreement.
This Agreement will determine your terms and conditions of employment, including wage increases and workplace rights, at your Branch.
It is proposed to cover many of Bendigo Bank’s Community Branches across the country. At many branches this will be the first time employees’ rights have been protected by an Agreement; at others it will replace existing or expired Agreements.
How do I know if I will be covered?
If you’re covered by the Agreement you would have received an email from Bendigo containing a NERR (Notice of Employee Representational Rights). This is a formality that signals the start of bargaining for your new Agreement and alerts you to your right to be represented in the negotiations. If you are an FSU member, the FSU is your default bargaining representative.
It is crucial that you have a say about what you want in an Agreement! Complete our survey so that we know what matters to you in these important negotiations.
The only way real change can be achieved is through a strong, united collective so if you are not a member of the FSU, now is the time to join.
In Unity,
Your FSU Team
