FSU members have been asking for details of the 2020 pay increase.
The BWA Enterprise Agreement 2019 provides that Level 1 & Level 2 colleagues, subject to meeting minimum behavior and compliance standards (including risk), will be entitled to an increase in their current base salary of 2.8%.
When will it be paid?
The increase will be paid on or before 1st October 2020 and backdated to 1st July 2020.
Colleagues employed after 1st July 2020 will not be entitled to this increase as per clause 8.2(f)
Where a colleague is on a formal Performance Improvement Plan at the time the increase is payable they will, provided they meet minimum behavior and compliance standards (including risk), receive the increase at the time they successfully complete the Performance Improvement Plan, and not otherwise, backdated to the time the increase became effective.
This is the final increase provided for in the 2019 EA. FSU members will be contacted at a later date to start the conversation around what changes they would like to see in a new EA and what salary increase would be considered fair and equitable.
