NAB’s own research confirms what FSU members have been saying across the bargaining table and in our NAB Wage report, the cost of living crisis is having real consequences.
NAB’s report – “Impacts of cost of living pressures on consumer spending and lifestyle behaviours” identified that “…1 in 2 Australian’s are switching to cheaper brands & shopping around, turning off electrical appliances & lights and making fewer car trips to save petrol.”
But instead of acknowledging their own findings in negotiations, NAB has defended their pay model and proposed each of us taking a real world pay cut.
If NAB won’t act, we need to take action.
We need a guaranteed pay increase for everyone in Groups 1-6, that deals with the cost of living pressures we are under.

Join an FSU zoom session on Thursday 13th October to hear about NAB’s response to the Union’s bargaining claim.
These sessions will be an opportunity to hear a detailed update directly from your FSU bargaining team, ask questions, and discuss the potential need for industrial action.
