Bargaining Update

CBA AGM: Members challenge the board on 3%

This morning, hundreds of CBA employees submitted questions to the AGM about CBA’s pay offer in EBA negotiations.

While not all the questions were read out in the AGM, the ones that were read made it very clear that employee shareholders are not happy with the Bank’s offer!

Congratulations to all of you! This was an enormously powerful collective action! This success is owned not just by those who put their questions forward, but to all of you who have taken the time to talk about our petition with your colleagues and build our collective strength!

We’ve edited the relevant questions about pay together so that you can watch CBA’s responses here.

Our next negotiation meeting is set for this Thursday; we’ll let you know what happens, but in the meantime, please keep sharing the petition and the flyers (Colour and Black and White) so that we can keep building on this incredible momentum you’ve all created!

CBA employees deserve a fair pay increase, and a fair agreement!

We’ll keep you updated with any developments as we keep putting pressure on the bank.
