CBA - Home Lending Changes

CBA has advised the FSU of a mass restructure to home lending roles in retail banking with an approx. 900 affected employees.

This announcement triggers the start of the consultation phase with affected employees and the FSU. Members are already reporting their concerned over the lack of detail being provided. Your Protections Negotiated by your Union

Over time the FSU’s negotiations have guaranteed significant protections for employees in the CBA Enterprise Agreement, in the event this kind of restructuring occurs.

CBA’s obligations are to:

  • Consult with you and the FSU about the introduction of the proposed changes,
  • consult with you about the effects the changes are likely to have on you,
  • genuinely give consideration to matters raised through this process, and
  • implement measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of the changes.

The Enterprise Agreement also provides the opportunity for impacted employees to meet with FSU representatives as part of the consultative process.
