Great News! Our Pay Increase is Coming!
Following extensive discussions and a vote of FSU members, we have now agreed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cbus.
This MOU means that you will receive a pay increase on 19 November 2020.
For eligible employees with a Total Remuneration of $150,000 or below, you will receive a 3% increase. If your Total Remuneration is over $150,000, you will receive a 2.7% increase. These increases will be backdated to 1 July 2020.
The MOU also delays bargaining for our new Enterprise Agreement until after 1 April 2021. Until we have reached agreement on our new enterprise agreement, our current Enterprise Agreement continues to apply.
Our planning for enterprise bargaining has started – this is our opportunity to determine our pay and conditions at work. The more our colleagues get involved, the better outcome we will achieve. If you are not yet a member of our Union community at Cbus, join here.
If you are already a member and would like to be involved in enterprise bargaining, reply to this email and we will be in touch.
Return to Office Working Group
As restrictions in Victoria ease and more states allow people back to the office, we are coming together to talk about how to make this process better. Some of our colleagues have already returned to the office and we’ve learnt some important lessons from their experiences.
We are forming a working group to discuss how we can return to the office safely and provide this feedback to Cbus. It is important that our voices are heard in this process so that we feel confident that we can return safely.
If you would like to be part of this working group, please reply to this email to let us know.
Performance Management
We are hearing increasing reports from colleagues that there have been discussions with them about their performance at work.
If you have had formal or informal performance discussions, or even discussions about your compliance with the Code of Conduct, email us at fsuinfo@fsunion.org.au for a confidential discussion.
Remember that you have rights in performance management processes, so call us or the FSU Member Rights Centre on 1300 366 378 at the start of any performance discussions.
We have an exciting time ahead of us as we work towards enterprise bargaining! If there are people in your team who are not members, have a chat to them about becoming involved. Outcomes like our 3% pay increase are only possible when people join our Union community.
