Where we stand on negotiations

Thank you to all who attended our meeting this week and thank you for standing together with your colleagues to say that Cbus management’s proposal around pay and Super isn’t good enough.

We think all Cbus employees should receive the same pay increase and that it should be above inflation.

It is unfair for Cbus management insist they can’t afford to do this when in the last three years Cbus executives have typically received pay rises of more than 10% – sometimes more than 20%!

It’s important for us to raise our voices collectively and tell Cbus management we deserve a fair and better deal.

As we head into the Christmas and New Year break, you can see a summary of where the EBA negotiations stand for each of our FSU claims that we outlined at the start of bargaining.

Where we stand on our claims

We will continue to progress negotiations with Cbus in the new year. There is still work to be done, but we know that when we stick together as union members, we can achieve better outcomes for everyone at Cbus.
