Let Cbus know their pay offer isn't good enough 👎

Happy new year! We hope you all had a safe and enjoyable Christmas break.

Last year, union members decided the Cbus proposal around pay and super is unfair and isn’t good enough.

With bargaining due to recommence soon, so we need you to tell management how we feel about this unfair offer. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to send your feedback about the proposed pay increases directly to management (eba@cbussuper.com.au).

Or, if you’d prefer to be anonymous, get in touch with one of us and we’ll pass the message on.

The bottom line is, we think all Cbus employees should receive the same pay increase and that it should be above inflation. It is unfair for Cbus management to insist they can’t afford to do this. Over the past three years Cbus executives have typically received pay rises of more than 10% – sometimes more than 20%.

HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATE

As you know, Cbus has asked that staff continue to work from home except if required to attend the office for business-critical work. For those continuing to work on site, we are working with Cbus management to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken. It is paramount Cbus minimise the risk of catching COVID at work.

We recently secured an agreement from Cbus that front counter staff will be provided with RATs. In the meantime that they will be reimbursed for their purchase for work-related purposes.

If you have any questions or concerns about your health and safety at work, please get in touch with us here.
