Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is proposing to make significant changes in its Consumer Division.

These changes involve a reduction in branch staff and introducing Local Operations Centres to perform some existing branch tasks.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank started discussions with impacted people on Monday, and advised that those discussions concluded yesterday.

They have said that you need to provide feedback and ask any questions by TOMORROW. And if you have to express interest in a new role, they want you to do that by tomorrow too!

We are in a global pandemic with huge economic uncertainty. If Bendigo Bank thinks that less than a week to consider your future employment is adequate, they are wrong.

Your Union has written to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank to tell them to extend the consultation period to give you a decent chance to understand these changes, ask questions, provide feedback and make informed decisions.
