Your health and safety are of the utmost importance.
The next few weeks in NSW are critical, as steps are taken to limit the spread of positive COVID cases. This means as each of you go about providing an essential service to your customers and the community your health and safety also needs to be respected.
As we hear reports of more outbreaks and hotspots across NSW, FSU members are reporting they are feeling increasingly concerned about their health and safety.
Union members are holding a COVID Safety Zoom Forum on Thursday 6 August at 6.30pm. If you’re not yet a Union member you can still join in, we’d like to hear from you. Register here.
This meeting is for all front-line customer facing workers to come together to discuss our collective concerns. We also want to hear from as many people as possible about what you are doing to implement safety measures at your workplaces and troubleshoot any issues you may be facing at your branch.
Forward this invite to your branch retail networks far and wide within New South Wales. If you have any questions or concerns, please reply to this email.
In Unity

Acting Secretary, NSW/ACT Branch
