Campaign News
IAG
IAG have walked back from their pre-March in principle agreement – instead they’re presenting workers with a substandard agreement, which bases pay increases on performance and only guarantees a 1% spend until the 2024 pay cycle.
That’s a VERY long time without a reasonable pay increase.
IAG workers have voted to take industrial action, but before we lodge the documents at the Fair Work Commission we want to give IAG an opportunity to understand that we have the community on our side.

For the Workers
Employers are lobbying MPs and demanding Scott Morrison brings in laws to cut wages and basic workplace rights for millions of workers. If they get their way, they will be able to convince the Morrison Government to use the pandemic to take away workers’ rights such as penalty rates, weaken the safety-net, and make permanent cuts to take home pay.
This is a real threat. Some of these extreme anti-worker employer groups are very influential within the Liberal Government. The lobbying is happening right now. We need you to stand with the union movement so we can do absolutely everything we can to stop it.
Send a message right now to Scott Morrison that he shouldn’t punish essential workers.
