In our recent check-in survey of AustralianSuper employees, you told us that meaningful pay increases and strengthening work from home rights must be top priorities for our upcoming 2026 enterprise agreement negotiations.
You also said that addressing workloads and resourcing, as well as improving consultation and transparency, will help strengthen workplace culture.
Understanding your entitlements
Many of you also indicated a desire for more education opportunities to help all AustralianSuper employees better understand our workplace rights and entitlements.
We know that employees who are familiar with their entitlements are much better placed to enforce them when employers fail to do the right thing (and yes, it happens all the time!).
Fortunately, workplace education is one of the many benefits of union membership. Over the coming months, FSU members will have exclusive opportunities to deep dive into and learn more about priority topics, such as work from home, as we prepare for enterprise agreement negotiations.
If there is a specific topic you would like us to focus on, or if you have any ideas or stories you’d like to share, please reach out to your FSU Organiser Dylan at[email protected].
Get ready for negotiations
As we prepare to negotiate our next enterprise agreement, it’s important to remember: workplaces that get the biggest pay rises and the best working conditions are the ones where all employees work together.
That starts with everyone joining our union. The more union members we have, the better our chances are of negotiating a fair deal.
And if you’re already a member, forward this email to your colleagues andtalk to them about joining today.
