The FSU and your workplace delegates have been negotiating with Hostplus for a new enterprise agreement for over 10 months. It is now time for you to consider and vote on these proposed conditions.

With all the changes and uncertainty brought about by COVID-19, now is the time to ensure you understand what your proposed new EBA offers. Then vote to secure your conditions!

The FSU will be holding information sessions on Tuesday 12 May via Zoom to discuss the key achievements of the proposed agreement. Sessions will be held between 11am and 2pm and will go for about 45 minutes.

Details of proposed new agreement

Hostplus are required to provide all staff who are to be covered by the agreement access to the material for staff to review. The proposed agreement is available from Monday 11 May until Sunday 17 May 2020 for staff to consider the proposal prior to a vote commencing.

Key achievements in the proposed agreement include:

  • 3.5% salary increase backdated to 1 July 2019;
  • 3.5% salary increase from 1 July 2020 and July 2021; and
  • Securing a $500 sign on bonus.

Voting to lock in pay increases will commence on Monday 18 May and conclude at 5pm Friday 22 May 2020. The vote will be conducted by electronic ballot by independent Unattributed Surveys.
