HUECU: Time to bargain for a new agreement

Wednesday 1 August 2018

Hunter United Employees Credit Union (HUECU) has decided to commence negotiations for a new enterprise agreement. The current enterprise agreement reaches it nominal expiry in January 2019.

Next Steps

HUECU will be issuing all enterprise agreement covered employees with a Notice of Employee Representational Rights as required under the Fair Work Act 2009.

The good news is that you don’t have to do anything with the Notice as you will be represented by your union, the FSU.

We would like to hear from you on what are the key issues that you would like the FSU to take to the negotiating table. You can email Nik Singh at

Bargaining will commence 14 days after the date the Notice of Employee Representational Rights is issued.

The FSU will only represent its members. If you are not a member and you would like to protect and improve your pay and conditions, this is the perfect opportunity to join.

The FSU will be commencing visits to your branches in the coming weeks. If you would like a visit from the FSU or would like to discuss any issues, email
