FSU commences application to the Fair Work Commission

Enough is Enough - Union Members opt for Industrial Action

A message from your IAG Union Negotiators

Last night FSU members and union workplace representatives from across the country met to deliberate on the avenues available to apply pressure on IAG to improve their final offer. An overwhelming majority of members have decided to take protected industrial action.

We have instructed our union to start the application process, seeking orders from the Fair Work Commission (FWC) to take protected industrial action. The FSU intends to lodge by mid next week.

It is important to note that only FSU members will be able to take protected industrial action. As your enterprise agreement negotiators, we have been fighting hard for over a year for a decent deal for all of you.

It has never been more important to stand together and have our voices heard. We encourage you to join us in fighting for a better deal.

If you are not a member of the FSU, join today and stand with us.

We will be touch again next week once the application to the FWC is lodged.

Enjoy the long weekend!
