I’ve been overpaid by IAG – what are my rights?
FSU members have told the union that overpayments and subsequent demands for repayment…
This week, we met with IAG for a second time in negotiations for our new 2024 IAG Enterprise Agreement (EA).
On behalf of members, we presented our FSU Log of Claims which outlines what members across IAG have said matters most to them. This includes a guaranteed pay increase that keeps ahead of the cost of living, working from home arrangements to be formally recognised in our EA, and industry standard leave entitlements.
See our full FSU Log of Claims here.
It’s important for all of us to support our Log of Claims so that we are in a strong bargaining position during negotiations.
IAG management has also presented their initial high level position. While they have yet to provide details, they identified a number of items they intend to raise in subsequent meetings. This includes remuneration, clarity around time off in lieu provisions, and re-examination of the process where redundancies may occur (while committing to no reduction in the notice period or severance payment outlined in our current EA).
We’ll have more details in the coming weeks and more clarity on how closely management’s position aligns with what we’re calling for. Until then, it’s crucial members continue to support our FSU Log of Claims.
Our bargaining position is stronger when we act together. If you’re not yet an FSU member, you can join with your colleagues here.
In unity,
