International Women’s Day is a global celebration of respect for women on the 8th March every year. The 2018 campaign theme is #PressForProgress.
While we know that gender equality won’t happen overnight, the good news is that across the world women are making positive gains day by day, including economic, political and social achievements. There is a strong global movement of support, advocacy and activism.

IWD is driven by collective action
Now, more than ever, there’s momentum to press forward and progress gender equality. Friends, colleagues and whole communities are motivated and united to think, act and be gender inclusive.
International Women’s Day is powered by the collective efforts of all of us. Collective action and shared ownership for driving gender equality is what makes International Women’s Day successful.
Launching the FSU’s Work and Family Survey 2018
The FSU has today launched its national Work and Family Survey 2018. Complete the survey here: www.bit.ly/WorkandFamilySurvey18.
It will gather a snapshot of the realities of life for Australia’s working women in 2018, to identify where things are really improving. This is the first step towards determining pockets of the industry that are taking steps to address issues for women in the finance industry.
Please pass on this survey to all your friends, family members and colleagues, of any gender. For culture to change, we want everyone to participate in the survey.
