It’s time for action – FSU lodges industrial action application

The FSU has lodged an application with the Fair Work Commission to hold a ballot that, if successful, will allow us to take protected industrial action.

This is not a step we take lightly.

However, despite eleven bargaining meetings with AustralianSuper, the Fund is unwilling to agree to out pay claim so that we can keep up with the rising cost of living. Not only that, AustralianSuper is also trying to erode important rights like a trial period if we are redeployed to a lower graded role.

Only FSU members will be eligible to vote in the protected industrial action ballot, so if you haven’t yet joined, it’s important to take that step now.

Protected industrial action is how we will be able to show AustralianSuper that we are serious about fair pay and conditions.

Member only meeting this Friday!

This Friday 25 August, at 10.30am (AEST) we are holding an important update meeting for all FSU members.
