LUCRF: Enterprise Bargaining Update

Dear Members,

Last week we had another bargaining meeting with LUCRF management.

The most significant issue was whether the FSU Enterprise Agreement and the UWU Enterprise Agreement would be combined into a single agreement.

LUCRF management has made it clear that they are seeking a single enterprise agreement.

Our UWU colleagues noted a number of concerns about being included in a single agreement. They have now met with LUCRF management to address their concerns.

This means that in our next bargaining meeting on 29 April 2021, will be able to get into the discussion of our substantive claims.

I will be in touch after that to provide an update

Workplace Reps

Two of our colleagues have volunteered to step up as workplace reps:

Ange Ferraro
“I’ve been an employee of LUCRF for almost 5 years. I have nominated to represent LUCRF staff in helping negotiate a stronger collective agreement.”

Jarrod Panther
“Having previously served as one of your FSU reps (back in the days of 4% per year pay rises!), I believe I have both the experience and skill set to help deliver an even stronger Collective Agreement for us in 2021.”

To endorse Ange and Jarrod as workplace reps, please reply to this email.

If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch.

In Unity,

Raj
FSU Workplace Representative
