ME Bank: Change is Coming –
Important Meeting on Thurs 1 July - 1pm

ME has always been a special place to work.

We choose to work here because it is not the same as the big four banks.  We work here because we can be ourselves.  We work here because there is something unique about our culture.

On Thursday, the Bank of Queensland will become the new owners of ME Bank.

For most of us, our day to day work won’t change in the short term.  But we know that with a change in ownership, every element of ME Bank will be under review.

This is an incredibly important opportunity for us to come together and determine which parts of ME are important to us.

Is it your ability to work flexibly and at home?  Do you love our connection to senior leaders within the Bank?  Is our brand, how we speak and act, important to you?

Our Union community is committed to protecting what makes ME special.

We are meeting on Thursday, 1 July 2021 at 1.00pm to update everyone on what happens as BoQ take ownership of ME Bank.  We will also be discussing our plans to protect what is unique at ME.

FSU Meeting to discuss our transition to the ownership of BoQ.
