NAB has advised the FSU that the first stage of the Enterprise Transformation restructure begins this week.
Your Protections Negotiated by your Union
Over time the FSU’s negotiations have guaranteed significant protections for employees in the NAB Enterprise Agreement, in the event this kind of restructuring occurs.
These important protections include:
- Maximising redeployment
- Minimising retrenchments
Minimising forced retrenchments - Matching employee preferences
- Industry-leading retrenchment payments
- Transition support services and Vocational Education.
NAB’s obligations are to: consult with you and the FSU about the introduction of the proposed changes, consult with you about the effects the changes are likely to have on you, and implement measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of the changes. The Enterprise Agreement also provides the opportunity for impacted employees to meet with FSU representatives as part of the consultative process.
FSU Workplace Meetings
The FSU will be conducting workplace meetings at central sites that are impacted by the restructure.
The meetings will provide information about your rights and obligations through the change process, to help you get the best outcome for your circumstances. Details of the meetings will be communicated over the next few days.
You can register your interest to attend a local meeting here: nabmembers@fsunion.org.au
Please ensure you include workplace location so you can be streamed to the appropriate meeting.
