Every finance, insurance, and superannuation worker across Australia has been impacted by COVID-19. Whether you are in a lockdown, trying to get vaccinated, worrying about your family, or worrying about your safety at work.
Come along to an all FSU member meeting this Wednesday 25 August at 7:30pm AEST to hear how your union colleagues are campaigning for safer working conditions and priority vaccinations during this uneasy time.
Many of us in customer facing roles are worried about our safety when serving the public. Banking is an essential service and while there is no way to bring the risk of infection to zero, we all deserve a workplace where that risk is made as low as possible.
We need safety measures not only for us as union members, but for the safety of the community as a whole.
If you believe there’s something happening at work that is putting you and your community at risk, we can help.
If you’re being made to work from an office or branch when you could work from home, we can help.
If your workplace isn’t managing the risk of COVID-19 transmission seriously enough, or you’re at greater risk than others and don’t feel safe, we can help.
Your information will be kept confidential from your employer, and we will work to have the issue addressed to protect our community.
