Dear Colleagues,
Your health and safety are of the utmost importance.
There have been another 134 positive COVID-19 cases confirmed in the past 24 hours, and a colleague at 700 Bourke St. As the border shuts and we head into another lockdown, many colleagues are feeling scared, unsafe, and uncertain. Rest assured that if you need anything at this time, our Union community has your back.
As one of your Health and Safety Reps, one of my responsibilities is to raise with NAB any risks to your health and safety, even if you’re working from home. If you do not have the appropriate PPE, if you feel unsafe commuting to work, if you need an assessment on your WFH situation, or if you have trouble accessing pandemic leave, please get in contact at victas@fsunion.org.au. No concern is too small.
NAB has a duty of care to us all. On the NAB intranet, you can report health, safety, and wellbeing incidents. There are four categories: (1) Early Report of Discomfort or Distress, (2) Injury/Illness, (3) Near Miss, and (4) Hazard. If you are experiencing any signs of discomfort or distress, I encourage you to early report.
If you haven’t already, please fill out our Covid Aware survey here.
