No backsies! All we want for Xmas is the time off we’ve been promised

Brighter Super are shamefully backflipping on the promise of a half day off for Contact Centre workers.

As you know, management initially provided all Brighter Super staff with what they dubbed was “the gift of time” – a half day paid time off on Friday 22 December 2023.

Contact Centre workers were also promised another half day on Friday 29 December, and were told they could finish at midday. This advice was provided in writing and even reflected in rosters.

Late last week, CC staff were advised this was a miscommunication and they would now be expected to work a full day on 29 December.

Brighter Super, don’t be a Grinch

This is pretty Grinch-like behaviour this close to Christmas. CC staff have worked hard and deserve the time off we’ve been promised.

It’s not ok for management to arbitrarily backflip on promises they’ve made and un-gift what they themselves boasted was “the gift of time”.

Please sign our petition in the next 24 hours. Let’s help make our Christmases a little “Brighter”.
