A message about returning to the office from Julia Angrisano, FSU National Secretary

Our return to the office

Update: Are you going back to the office? You can read more about what we’re doing to advocate for workers to maintain flexibilty in their roles here.

On Wednesday 2 March at 7:30pm (AEDT), join me for an urgent FSU meeting about our return to the office.

We’ve been working from home since the start of the pandemic.  Almost overnight, many of our employers want us to come back to the office.

When we were sent home, we rearranged our lives to make sure we could do our jobs to support our communities.  Now we are being expected to switch back and return to offices that we aren’t sure are safe.

We deserve a say in where we work.  We’ve all proven that we can work from home, and do it well.  Throughout the pandemic, we’ve helped our employers achieve record profits.  Now it’s time for them to  give us the respect we deserve.

Register here for our meeting on Wednesday to hear about best practice work from home arrangements.  Together, we will decide how we will win flexible work across the finance sector.

And if you’re not yet a member of the union, you can join here.
